Population can not ever be fixed. Why? New casual players are now drawn to mobile and console options. The PC version is just for testing and developing ideas for these platforms in the long-term. This is the sad reality. They should not have released the mobile and console editions, if they intended to grow the PC population. Players who maybe slightly interested in Armored Warfare or playing with modern tanks, will play these console or mobile versions first.
In order to grow the population you need casual players to develop into dedicated players, and redirecting these casual players to non-PC platforms means our PC population will not grow. This means the PC version is now relegated to just testing and developing. High-end content modes (Battalion wars, tournaments, even ranked battles, etc. ) just can not happen now without a thriving population.
The way I see it, the PC version was developed and then the publishers realised it was not making as much money as they thought. So they then started releasing the 'copy-paste' tanks, which according to SS seems to do quite well on a revenue basis. But the publishers needed more income, so other platforms were developed and the game was ported to them as well. And now they have developed these 'loot crates' to try make even more income, and these are sure to become 'in-app purchase' options in future mobile and console releases.
So instead of trying to find out why players are leaving the PC versions, all they are focusing on is how much they can earn from the dwindling player base and developing ways to make money off the console and mobile versions in the future.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
